Marketing Trustee vacancy
With our current Marketing Trustee, Simeon Bird, stepping down from the role at the end of this season, due to work and time commitments, we are searching for a new Marketing Trustee to help the club achieve it’s strategic marketing objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to develop our broader strategy for marketing and communications in the community.

Trustee – Marketing
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop the creation and implementation of an integrated marketing strategy with key campaigns throughout the year to to increase awareness, drive engagement and generate funding, and achieve strategic objectives of the club.
- Recruit and Work with a volunteer team to develop an annual marketing calendar aligned to strategic objectives and communication to key audiences calendar throughout the season for parents, volunteers and stakeholders.
- Build relationships with key sponsors and oversee marketing support requirements for fundraising and sponsorship initiatives.
- Work with operations manager and Chair of Trustees to develop holistic sponsorship packages using Raiders assets to increase sponsorship revenue and value.
- Produce the monthly parents’ newsletter and ad-hoc member communications
- Run the club’s social media accounts throughout proactive engagement with various club stakeholders to generate relevant and engaging content across all our social media platforms.
- Update the website with latest dates and critical information
- Attend Trustee meetings and contribute to the overall Trustee responsibility for best practice management of the Club.
