Changes to the Trustee Board
As the new season starts there have been a number of changes to the Trustees Board that runs the Football Club’s Charity.
After many years serving as Trustees for the Club Steve Slater (Welfare) and Mark Lawlor (Charity Secretary) have decided now is the right time to step down. We would like to offer a huge thank you to them both for all their passion and effort in making Berkhamsted Raiders the success it is today.
Following a strategic review of the Club’s operations a number of new Trustees were appointed to build experience in a number of areas needed to support the Club’s future development.
Charlotte Spooner has been appointed as Trustee, with responsibility for HR to support our employees and wider volunteer group.
Joanna Conway has joned as Trustee with responsibility for Welfare, replacing Steve Slater, and Richard Bedlow will draw upon his background in Accountancy with PwC to help the club with financial matters.
Finally Chris Armond has joined as Trustee with responsibility for Marketing and Communications to support the Club’s strategic goals and marketing approach in general.
