Disability Football

Our Disability Football offering was introduced in September 2019 and is managed by Paul Reynolds, an FA Qualified coach for Arsenal and England. It currently incorporates a training session every Saturday from 1030am to 1130am, for youth players aged 8 to 15 years old, on the Astro pitch at Ashlyns School in Berkhamsted. Our training runs from September through to May.

We have also recently added a Adult Disability Training Session for players aged 16 years and older. This runs from 1130am to 1230pm on Saturday mornings at the same location.

The training sessions are planned to cover a wide range of football skills and drills with the intention of developing their footballing abilities. This is balanced with the equally important need to ensure that all the participants are having fun as well! All abilities and challenges (physical and neurological) are welcome and can be accommodated.

For new members, the first four sessions are free to get a feel for the training and get an understanding whether it is right for you or your child. Once you register as a member then there is a a £75 membership fee for the season with training taking place from September through to May.

Our youth training group have also recently started taking part in tournaments against other local disability football teams!
