Berkhamsted Raiders was awarded Community Sports Club of the Year 2019 for the work that its volunteers have done in encouraging participation in sport and its focus on the Berkhamsted and Northchurch community. Andy Grindrod, Raiders Trustee, accepted the award from Colin Jackson.

Raiders Head of Coaching, Steve McHugh, was runner up in the Male Community Coach of the Year. Mary Pacitti also made the shortlist for Unsung Hero, but was pipped at the post by Kevin Clarke from Berkhamsted Bowls Club.
